Frequently asked questions

What do I need to wear?

For all dance and yoga classes I would wear something comfortable and stretchy. Layers are a good option to remove once you get warmer and to pop back on when we cool down at the end of class. For dance classes wear comfortable trainers and for Style It some people prefer wear jazz shoes or even just socks or bare feet

What do I need to bring?

Definitely bring a water bottle to all classes. For yoga classes I have all the props you would need but if you do happen to have your own yoga mat then please bring it along. For Baby and Me classes please bring a blanket for your baby to lie on and you are welcome to bring a sling to carry baby in as you’re dancing if you want to keep your arms free for arm-ography!

Is there parking available and are the venues accessible?

All venues I teach at have designated car parks apart from St John’s Hall (Tuesday morning Yoga and Chair Yoga.) This venue has on street parking outside. All classes are on the ground floor apart from Tuesday evening DanceFit and Style It

Am I flexible enough to do Yoga?

Yoga is NOT about being flexible and you do not have to have any level of flexibility to take part. Yoga is about connecting your mind and body through a wonderful variety of meditation, breathwork and postures. All postures can be adapted to suit EVERY body no matter your experience level. I have been dancing for 34 years and I still don’t consider myself flexible!
